ABOUT
Coral Monaghan is a multi-disciplinary animator, printmaker & illustrator.
Coral’s stop-motion animation, GIFs, and short films are an exploration of combining printmaking with animation. Her most recent graduate project includes a series of entirely screenprinted stop-motion animation.
Coral’s illustration and animation looks at capturing the movement within the spaces around her. The mundanity and repetition of everyday life is another recurring theme.
Coral studied at Camberwell College of Arts and at the University of Brighton, graduating in 2024 with a degree with first class honours in Illustration.
